Job Description

Nokia / Deepfield Networks is seeking a security focused Post Sales Engineer to be responsible for implementation, configuration and other technical-delivery aspects of our software solutions with customers. This position will be located in Singapore, liaising with local team members and also main BU in MI, USA.


The Post Sales Engineer will be a subject matter expert who understands our products and features at a very detailed level – understanding how the solutions solve customer pain-points and key feature configurations, obtaining knowledge-transfer from engineering, to be the expert resource on all existing and new product features.


Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  • DDoS basics, with experience troubleshooting traffic patterns
  • Evolve with customers around solution needs and feature requests to provide feedback to Product Management for future product direction and roadmap.
  • Be able to effectively engage with customers and advocate their experience
  • Collaborate with Deepfield’s Lvl 4 operations and engineering (MI, USA) to provide timely answers to product questions and problem fixes.
  • Attend customer QBR calls
  • Document customer requirements
  • Help resolve technical and on-going use case challenges
  • Assess changing customer requirements and solution evolution to optimize both customer and company success.
  • Assist customers in fully utilizing Deepfield’s products and features.



  • Proficiency speaking English
  • User-level experience with Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge and/or experience with various Virtual environments, including VMware ESX, Amazon EC2, or other cloud virtual environments
  • Advanced knowledge of service provider networks, including the BGP routing protocol
  • Strong written communication skills for documenting features in a knowledge base and editing training materials
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines once the project goals are discovered and defined
